Description
Prairifire Crabapple (Malus ‘Prairifire’) is a flowering crabapple with reddish-purple new foliage and excellent disease resistance. Hardy in USDA zones 3-8, it grows best in full sun. It blooms in mid-to-late spring (April-May) with deep pink-red flowers, followed by small persistent red fruit that provides winter interest.
