Walk into a big box store’s garden section and you’ll get a barcode scan. Walk into ours and you’ll get an honest answer about whether that hydrangea will actually survive a Kansas August in full sun (it won’t — we’ll point you to one that will).
We stock trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, mulch, and decorative rock — chosen because they perform in this specific region, not because they looked nice in a catalog. Inventory shifts with the season, so what’s on the lot in April looks different from what’s there in September, and that’s intentional.

Why We Only Stock What Performs Here
Every plant on our lot has to earn its place through actual performance in Central Kansas conditions — summer heat that regularly tops 100 degrees, clay-heavy soil, and wind that stresses plants bred for milder climates. We’d rather tell you a popular variety won’t make it through August than sell it to you and watch it fail by September.
Beyond the Plants
If a plant needs to go in the ground, we also handle the installation side — from professional tree and shrub planting to full landscape design, so buying from us doesn’t mean you’re on your own for the harder parts of getting it established.

Every recommendation comes from staff who work with these plants daily, not a general reference chart — sun and shade needs, mature size, watering expectations, and how a specific variety has actually performed on our lot and in local landscapes this season.

Delivery and On-Site Help
Larger trees and bulk mulch or rock orders are available for delivery if hauling them yourself isn’t practical, and our staff can talk through quantities and spacing before you load up so you’re not guessing how much a project actually needs.
