Let’s Talk About Your Property

Whether you’ve got a clear vision or just know something isn’t working in your yard, the first step is the same: a conversation. Reach out and we’ll set up a time to walk the property together. Most projects start exactly this way — not with a signed contract, but with someone walking their yard with us, pointing out the parts that bother them and the parts they’d like to use more.

We work with homeowners across Central Kansas on everything from a single overgrown bed to a full backyard rebuild with hardscaping, lighting, and irrigation working together. You don’t need a finished plan before you call. Most people don’t have one — that’s part of what the conversation is for.

What Happens After You Reach Out

We’ll ask a few questions about what’s prompting the project — a problem you’re trying to solve, an event you’re planning around, or a yard that’s stopped working for how you actually use it. From there we set up a time to walk the property together in person, so we can look at drainage, sun exposure, existing plantings, and how the space connects to the house before anyone talks about materials or cost. You’ll get a straightforward proposal afterward, not a hard sell.

Reach Us Directly

  • Phone: (620) 392-3226
  • Address: 712 N Grand Ave, Lyons, KS 67554

Calling is the fastest way to reach us, especially during the spring and fall rush when project requests pick up. If you get voicemail, leave your name, a callback number, and a quick line about what you’re looking at — we return calls in the order they come in, usually within a business day.

Nursery Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

These are our nursery hours for walking in and browsing trees, shrubs, and seasonal stock. Site visits and project consultations are scheduled separately and can often happen outside of these windows, including some evenings, depending on the season and how far out we’re booked.

Service Area

Lyons, Great Bend, Hutchinson, Sterling, Wichita, Salina, and surrounding Central Kansas communities.

That list covers where most of our current projects are, but it isn’t a hard boundary. If you’re just outside it, reach out anyway — for larger installations like paver patios, retaining walls, or full irrigation systems, we’re often able to make the trip.

What to Have Ready When You Call

You don’t need much prepared, but a few details help us give you a useful answer faster: roughly how big the area is, whether you’re dealing with a specific problem like poor drainage or bare dirt, and any timeline you’re working around, like a graduation or a fall planting window. Photos of the space on your phone are a bonus, but not required for a first conversation.

Not Sure Where to Start

If you’re still narrowing down what you actually want, browsing our landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation pages first can help put a name to it. Either way, a phone call is still the fastest path from “something’s not right about my yard” to an actual plan.
