Veggies, Herbs & Fruits
Food you can grow in Rice County. We time our starts to the Central Kansas season, not a national planting calendar — which matters when the difference between a good tomato year and a bad one is a two-week window in April.
Vegetable Starts
Tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, greens, and the cool-season crops that go in twice a year here. Started plants, not seed — you get a head start on a short spring.
Herbs
Basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, mint, and the rest of the kitchen list. Most do better in a pot by the back door than in a bed — ask us which ones.
Fruit Trees, Bushes & Canes
Apple, peach, pear, and cherry trees, plus berry bushes and brambles. Fruit trees need a pollination partner more often than people expect — talk to us before you buy just one.
Building a Garden From Scratch?
We do raised beds, soil, compost, drip irrigation, and fencing — the whole setup, not just the plants. One trip, one crew.
